The big surprise prepared by Romania’s head coach for the national team’s June fixtures is the call-up of Vali Crețu, the 36-year-old full-back from FCSB.

This marks Crețu’s third call-up to the national team. He made his debut for the senior squad on November 11, 2020, under Mirel Rădoi, in a match that Romania won 5-3 against Belarus.
